How to measure your foot and find your shoe size
A size number alone does not guarantee fit. Measure your foot, compare the brand's chart and consider the shape of the specific model.
Measure your foot
- Place a sheet of paper on a hard, flat floor.
- Stand naturally with your heel against a wall.
- Mark the longest point of the foot.
- Measure from the heel to that mark in centimeters.
- Repeat for both feet and use the larger measurement as your reference.
Use the exact brand chart
Nike, Adidas, PUMA, Converse and other brands can convert centimeters, US, UK and EU sizes differently. Check the chart for the brand and, when possible, the exact model.
Fit matters as much as length
Width, toe-box shape, sock thickness, intended activity and personal preference can change the size that feels best. A running shoe and a casual leather sneaker can fit differently even when the printed size is the same.
Before buying online
Confirm the seller's return policy and compare your measurement with the product's sizing information. If a model is known to fit differently, prioritize model-specific guidance.
